The Ligingi Community Learning Centre (LCLC), a not-for-profit organisation, was founded by and serves the remote Ligingi village community in eastern Uganda. It is managed by a local committee and supported by a vibrant team of volunteers in Melbourne, Australia.
The LCLC is the organisational hub at the heart of Ligingi village’s journey to create self-directed, positive pathways of transformation. Founded in May 2011, the LCLC facilitates community education, learning and positive action for change.
We work in 3 programming areas: Arts and Culture, Education and Health, and Environmental and Livelihoods Sustainability.
This is the LCLC’s new blog. To find out more information about the LCLC, please visit our website (which also contains previous blog posts).
